Dish Detergent Gondola Merchandising Plan

In this project I focused on creating a dynamic and customer-centric dish detergent gondola display, strategically designed to captivate shoppers and boost sales.

By combining Blue Yonder Space Planning with advanced data analysis in Excel, I crafted an optimized product layout that enhances shopper engagement and maximizes retail potential.

I designed and merchandised a gondola for dish detergent products, focusing on brand prioritization and customer insights within a simulated retail environment.

Given a specific customer profile with distinct traits and preferences, I tailored the gondola design to meet their needs effectively. Using detailed data analysis, I prioritized best-selling products to reflect strong customer brand loyalty while incorporating value-oriented options for price-sensitive shoppers.

Products were organized by brand, scent, and function, with top-selling items strategically placed in high-visibility zones. I utilized Days of Supply (DOS) data and optimized the placement of heavy and light items to ensure effective stock management.

This project highlights my knowledge in category management, data-driven merchandising, and customer-centric product placement strategies within a controlled retail context.
