Retro Magic: Vintage Apparel Wall Design

This project focused on designing a vintage-inspired apparel wall for Retro Magic, a store specializing in unique and vintage clothing.

Using Blue Yonder Space Planning software, I crafted a visually appealing display that incorporated slatboards, pegboards, and merchandising techniques to create a memorable shopping experience.

For this project, I designed an apparel wall for a vintage store called Retro Magic using Blue Yonder Space Planning software. The project involved transforming a pegboard into a slatboard and applying essential merchandising guidelines to create a visually compelling display. I created full-sized product models, adjusted slopes and angles on rods, and crafted various display elements, including straight arms, waterfalls, and shelves, to enhance the presentation.

The wall was thoughtfully organized to showcase tops over bottoms, with adequate spacing for optimal visibility and customer engagement. This project highlights my expertise in space planning, visual merchandising, and creating effective apparel displays in a creative retail setting.

In addition to the apparel wall, I designed a four-way fixture for Retro Magic to further showcase the store’s unique clothing selection. This four-way display featured a balanced arrangement of rods, including two waterfall rods, to create a visually dynamic presentation. Each section was fully merchandised. By incorporating this display, I maximized product visibility and created an inviting shopping experience that aligned with the store’s vintage-inspired theme.
